How is pollution affecting sea turtles?

Sea turtles have existed for more than 100 million years and are struggling to survive the constant attacks from its most dangerous predator- humans. When we throw bottles into the trash instead of the recycling you are killing an innocent sea turtle. They eat anything they find so if you let a plastic bag float into the ocean it might get stuck in a sea turtle's stomach. Use the three r's if you need help: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle. Buy a re-usable bottle or bag and save an animals life.

  1. You have narrowed in to tell us essential facts about how trash in our oceans affects the leatherback. You're sharp!

The link you posted to the Wildlife Conservation Society lists more important information on the dangers leatherbacks face from humans and water pollution; I'd like to see you include some of that info, too.

Check out the Groundwater Pollution blogspot as well.

    Nice going!
